Dear Eats Community,
As we continue to navigate the new landscape of a global pandemic, we remain committed to maintaining the safest environment possible for you, our wonderful customers, and for our amazing staff.
We just received news that one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19. We are working with the Virginia Department of Health and recommendations from the CDC to take the necessary steps to prevent an outbreak and further sanitize the store. We are isolating staff members who have
had contact, getting tested, and monitoring symptoms. In addition, we will be closing today, Friday, July 10th at 3pm and will be closed on Saturday, July 11th to complete a deep cleaning of the store and ventilate the space. We will respond to results from all pending tests and future tests following recommendations from the health department and the CDC.
We understand that interruptions like these are an inconvenience, but safety is the best preventative measure for us to stay open for the long term. We will continue to be vigilant with our daily sanitizing and hand washing and we will not
allow anyone in the store without a mask.
Thank you all for your continued support, for the kind words you have shared with us, and for being loyal customers of Eats!
