Eats Newsletter- March 2021

The weather in March is always unpredictable. It could be cold and snowy (or icy!), or it could be beautiful and mild (fingers crossed). At Eats, we are always ready for Spring…Spring cleaning that is! We carefully pick out the best and safest cleaning products to carry in our store. We have a great selection of reusable cleaning tools as well. In our household department. you’ll also find earth-friendly paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, and paper plates. When shopping in-person, doing curbside pickup, or delivery, be sure to remember your household cleaning supplies.

The first day of Spring is so close, March 20. And now it’s time to start thinking about planting a garden. We have high quality seeds from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. The seeds are all organic and mostly heirloom! You’ll find a large variety of different seeds, from crunchy lettuces to breathtaking flowers.

St. Patrick’s Day is March 17th and what’s better to celebrate than making some Irish dishes? We carry all the ingredients to make a traditional Irish soda bread: all-purpose flour, sea salt, baking soda, and buttermilk. What a fun challenge to try on a weekend, and you can make it your own with fun add-ins! Teresa picked out two lovely Irish cheeses–a reserved cheddar and a creamy gouda style cheese–that will pair pleasantly with your homemade Irish bread along with delicious, Kerrygold butter!

We are excited to share that coming soon Eats Natural Foods is upgrading to a brand new website and our very own ordering app! Stay tuned for details.
